Regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations, as well as for team meetings, training opportunities, and relationship building. Responsibilities Manage and reconcile trust and escrow accounts in compliance with applicable laws and industry standards. Oversee accounts receivable and payable related to client trust and escrow transactions. Ensure timely and accurate posting of deposits, disbursements, and interest allocations. Maintain detailed records of all trust transactions and ensure segregation of client funds. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and operations teams to ensure proper documentation and authorization of trust-related activities. Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls and best practices for trust and escrow accounting. Monitor and report on aging of escrow balances and coordinate resolution of outstanding items. Essential Skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional demeanor and presentation. Ability to clearly communicate with Attorneys, Sr Leadership, and Staff. High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive financial data. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure to meet strict deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in trust or escrow accounting. Understanding of fiduciary accounting principles and compliance requirements. Experience in legal, real estate, title, or financial services industries. Familiarity with Florida Bar trust accounting rules or state-specific escrow regulations. Experience with multi-client or multi-entity trust environments. Knowledge of interest-bearing trust accounts (IOLTA) and related compliance. Work Environment This position requires working 5 days onsite in our downtown Miami office. Parking and/or public transportation costs are covered. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $46.00/hr.
