Job Title: Senior Accountant Job Description As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee core accounting functions within a manufacturing environment, ensuring the accuracy of general ledger activity and the timely completion of month-end processes. This role requires preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing balance sheet reconciliations, and recording journal entries. You will ensure that accounts payable and receivable are accurate, properly reconciled, and fully accounted for. Additionally, you will partner with operations to improve cost controls and enhance manufacturing efficiency. Responsibilities Oversee and ensure the accuracy of general ledger activities. Prepare and review financial statements and manage balance sheet reconciliations. Record and review journal entries. Ensure the accuracy and reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable. Collaborate with operations to improve cost controls and manufacturing efficiency. Essential Skills Proficiency in reconciliations and journal entries. Experience in financial statement preparation and analysis. Familiarity with manufacturing industry practices. Ability to create pivot tables and VLookups in Excel. Proficiency within a large ERP such as Oracle, SAP, SAGE, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or Workday. Qualifications Experience in cost accounting is a plus. 3+ years of experience reconciling balance sheet accounts. 3+ years of experience recording journal entries. 3+ years of financial statement preparation and analysis experience. Experience in the manufacturing industry from 2022 or later. Work Environment This position requires onsite work within a manufacturing environment. The role offers a fast-track progression opportunity to become the Accounting Manager or Assistant Controller. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Leola, PA.
