Job Description The Senior Accountant will be a key contributor to the AP Americas accounting team, responsible for maintaining robust internal controls and supporting accurate, timely financial reporting. This role is critical to the integrity of the month-end close process, preparation of financial statements, and execution of core accounting functions. It requires close collaboration with corporate and retail teams and offers visibility across multiple business units. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and a proactive team player, committed to driving process improvements and operational efficiency. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a wide range of general accounting functions to support accurate financial reporting Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger account balances Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting; analyze and explain variances Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and recharges Support cash flow forecasting and treasury-related accounting activities Responsible for performing monthly internal control procedures and collecting supporting documentation Collaborate with other departments to support business needs Support internal and external audit requirements Prepare departmental reports and ad hoc analysis as needed OTHER Ownership of travel topics Crosstrain with other accounting functions to improve team performance Qualifications BS in Accounting is required Min 3-5 years of experience in a similar Sr. Accountant role Strong working knowledge with a major ERP system Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel Desire to learn and adapt continuously, challenge the status quo Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Skilled at prioritizing and managing multiple projects, taking initiative, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Audemars Piguet offers a competitive and comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
