POSITION OVERVIEW

POWERGROUP Resources on behalf of our client Vine & Partners LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant/Auditor to join our talented team. The successful candidate will possess strong accounting and auditing skills, a deep understanding of regulatory standards, and the ability to deliver high-quality service to our clients. As a Senior Accountant/Auditor, you will be responsible for leading audit engagements, preparing financial statements, and providing insightful financial analysis.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

  • CPA designation (or working towards obtaining), with a minimum 2 years of public accounting experience
  • Proficient with CaseWare, Excel, Tax Prep, and Jazz it is an asset
  • Knowledge & experience in auditing procedures (CAS) and technical accounting guidelines (ASPE)

Experience:

  • ASPE & ASNPO: 2 years (preferred)
  • Caseware: 1 year (preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (preferred)
  • Taxprep: 1 year (preferred)
  • Jazzit: 1 year (preferred)
  • Public Accounting: 1 year (preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Team player and comfortable working with all levels of the organization
  • Organized with a proven ability to set priorities and to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Effectively supervise junior staff
  • Lead small and work up to large audit engagements
  • Lead any assurance and notice to reader prepared engagements as required
  • Knowledge of auditing procedures (CAS) and technical accounting guidelines (ASPE and ASNPO mainly)
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
