Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
leading Building Contracting Company based in Sharjah, UAE is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in Banking, Loans, and Corporate Finance.
Desired Candidate Profile
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the company’s bank accounts and banking transactions.
- Handle and follow up on bank facilities, loans, overdrafts, and financing arrangements.
- Coordinate directly with banks regarding loan applications, renewals, settlements, and documentation.
- Prepare and monitor Bank Guarantees (BGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and other banking facilities.
- Prepare and monitor the company’s cash flow and funding requirements.
- Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all banking transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and provide management with accurate financial information.
- Monitor loan repayments, interest, bank charges, and financing costs.
- Maintain proper documentation for all banking and financing transactions.
- Support management in financial planning and banking negotiations.
Requirements:
- Indian nationality.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong experience in banking, corporate loans, bank facilities, and financing.
- Previous experience with a construction/contracting company is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of BGs, LCs, overdrafts, loans, and bank facilities.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- Previous UAE experience is preferred.
- Good command of English.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and deal directly with banks and financial institutions.
