Roles & Responsibilities

leading Building Contracting Company based in Sharjah, UAE is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong expertise in Banking, Loans, and Corporate Finance.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and monitor the company’s bank accounts and banking transactions.
• Handle and follow up on bank facilities, loans, overdrafts, and financing arrangements.
• Coordinate directly with banks regarding loan applications, renewals, settlements, and documentation.
• Prepare and monitor Bank Guarantees (BGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and other banking facilities.
• Prepare and monitor the company’s cash flow and funding requirements.
• Manage bank reconciliations and ensure accurate recording of all banking transactions.
• Prepare financial reports and provide management with accurate financial information.
• Monitor loan repayments, interest, bank charges, and financing costs.
• Maintain proper documentation for all banking and financing transactions.
• Support management in financial planning and banking negotiations.

Requirements:

• Indian nationality.
• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong experience in banking, corporate loans, bank facilities, and financing.
• Previous experience with a construction/contracting company is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BGs, LCs, overdrafts, loans, and bank facilities.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Previous UAE experience is preferred.
• Good command of English.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and deal directly with banks and financial institutions.
