Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company BILL is seeking an organized, motivated and knowledgeable member to support its growth by contributing to the close and improving the accounting process. This role will be responsible for ensuring financial accuracy through reconciliation execution, process automation, and supporting implementation/testing. This individual contributor will make an impact on a growing team and in a high growth company. Responsibilities Prepare journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations for the card rewards program. Develop data analytics and visualizations for management to analyze the rewards program. Design efficiencies and process improvements with strong skills in automation tools and an awareness of internal controls. Support the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare information requests as needed for audits and reviews conducted by external auditors. Collaborate with Sales, FP&A, Engineering and Product teams to define accounting requirements for new products and system enhancements for the card rewards offering. Present monthly financial results to senior management and cross-functional teams. Review custom card reward agreements and understand the accounting implications for specified terms We’d love to chat if you have: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance Experience with top tier accounting firms and CPA Experience with payment industry is a plus 5 years of related professional experience with a combination of public accounting and industry experience or Master’s degree with 3 years experience without experience Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research accounting concepts Experience with NetSuite is a plus Proficient with Excel and experience with data analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau or Alteryx is a plus Demonstrated success with process improvement initiatives Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills Ability to effectively collaborate with all levels and cross-functionally Must be a self-starter and deadline-driven to work in a fast-paced environment within tight deadlines Competencies (Attributes needed to be successful in this role): Excellent organizational and communication skills Exceptional attention to detail Strong data analysis, investigative and problem-solving skills Must be a team player, energetic, detail-oriented and a self-starter Must be able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Have the ability to think outside the box, work independently with general supervision, be a team player, and willing to contribute beyond the defined role to meet business needs as circumstances require This position is based in San Jose, California or Draper, UT. The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits. San Jose pay range $90,500—$108,200 USD The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.
