Operating since 1964, Calgary Meals on Wheels (CMOW) is a non-profit organization committed to improving the food security and well-being of our community by preparing and delivering nutritious, quality, and affordable meals.
In 2024, for the third year in a row, we are proud to provide over one million meals as we tirelessly pursue our vision of a world free from hunger. At CMOW, we believe collaboration is our strength; we come together with our unique skills and diverse perspectives to create collective impact.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Enrollment in the CPA program would be an asset.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a non-profit setting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks); experience with Virtuous CRM and SERV Tracker is an asset.
• Strong understanding of ASPE and non-profit accounting principles.
• Experience with grant reporting and funding compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
