We are looking for someone with strong personal organizational skills and a positive attitude to assist with office duties and provide support throughout the organization. The ideal candidate is comfortable with a multi-functional role who is eager to assist throughout the organization. Essential Job Duties: · Day-to-day general accounting oversight, including AP/AR, cash management · Prepare standard monthly journal entries, consistent with GAAP requirements · Assist in annual tax preparation and work with tax accountants · Actively participate with policies and procedure documentation and maintenance · Prepare monthly reconciliations of general ledger accounts · Prepare monthly financials within month end close process · Perform account analysis and reconciliation with project managers · Prepare management reports including job cost reports, monthly financials and as needed reports · Prepares monthly pay application packages, ensuring subcontractor compliance and submission to banks Requirements Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting · Property Management Accounting experience · Knowledge of general accounting policies, procedures and software · Intermediate level knowledge of Excel · Experience with Netsuite · Demonstrate ability to multi-task and to manage multiple priorities · Willingness to wear multiple hats · Ability to work independently, be self-directed and self-motivated · Strong work ethic and positive attitude
