SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

A well-established organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to support its financial operations and reporting functions. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to external reporting efforts. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CPA track preferred).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and its practical application.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with enterprise financial systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

• Participate in the monthly close process by preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations, with a focus on areas such as cash, expenses, and revenue.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support the preparation and analysis of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Ensure adherence to internal control procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly those related to financial reporting and audit readiness.
• Assist with internal and external audits, including quarterly reviews and annual audits.
