The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Accountant to become a core member of the MediDrive finance team. This is a highly visible role with direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to help build the accounting and financial infrastructure of a fast-growing healthtech company from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who wants to go beyond traditional accounting and play a key role in shaping financial operations, supporting real-time decision making, and helping drive profitability across a complex, high-volume business. THIS POSITION WORKS ON SITE IN OUR BROOKLYN, NY OFFICE (NO REMOTE AVAILABLE)   Key Responsibilities * Own day-to-day accounting operations for MediDrive, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close * Manage billing and revenue tracking across multiple healthcare contracts and clients * Ensure proper classification and allocation of expenses in alignment with contribution margin and operational reporting * Support payroll accounting and integration with ADP * Assist in integrating financial systems (Sage) with operational data (dispatch, call center, etc.) * Manage credit card and vendor expense tracking to ensure clean and accurate reporting * Partner closely with operations and leadership to understand business drivers and ensure financial data reflects reality * Assist in building scalable accounting processes and internal controls as the business grows * Support preparation of financial statements and reporting packages   What You’ll Work On * Building a best-in-class Chart of Accounts aligned with operational metrics * Helping implement and optimize Sage accounting systems * Supporting contribution margin and unit economics analysis * Creating the foundation for real-time financial and operational dashboards * Preparing the business for future audits, investor diligence, and strategic growth   Qualifications * 3–6+ years of accounting experience (public accounting or industry) * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus) * Experience with Sage or similar ERP systems preferred * Strong understanding of accrual accounting and financial reporting * Experience in a high-growth, startup, healthcare, or transportation environment is a plus * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment * High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership
