About the role: We’re seeking a sharp, business-minded Senior Accountant to join our growing accounting team. This is a unique opportunity to shape the revenue to cash processes in a high-growth, cutting-edge AI company. You will work closely with Sales, Finance, and HR to support and scale our accounting function. Responsibilities Execute period-end close activities, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliations and other relevant working papers Partner with external vendors to ensure timely and accurate set up in Cresta’s AP platform Manage vendor bills to ensure they are accounted, reviewed and paid for in accordance with relevant policies Review customer contracts to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and proper application of ASC 606 for revenue recognition Facilitate the adoption of new accounting policies and updates to existing policies Prepare financial statements and other records in accordance with U.S. GAAP Lead the optimization of existing processes and procedures within the accounting team Facilitate payroll processing for the company and subsidiaries Support cross-functional teams to optimize operating activities and facilitate strong information flow Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business 2 or more years of relevant work experience in accounting or auditing Strong knowledge of general accounting principles (U.S. GAAP) Strong knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders Ability to be an effective individual contributor by planning, executing and delivering projects in a timely manner Preferred Qualifications Experience working as an auditor at a Big 4 Public Accounting Firm Experience with financial statement audits Experience with an IPO process Experience with internal controls Active CPA license (or actively working towards attainment) Perks & Benefits: We offer a comprehensive and people-first benefits package to support you at work and in life: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with plans to fit you and your family Flexible PTO to take the time you need, when you need it Paid parental leave for all new parents welcoming a new child Retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future Remote work setup budget to help you create a productive home office Monthly wellness and communication stipend to keep you connected and balanced In-office meal program and commuter benefits provided for onsite employees Compensation at Cresta: Cresta’s approach to compensation is simple: recognize impact, reward excellence, and invest in our people.
