Our firm is growing extremely fast and we are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Tax Accountant to have input and contribute to the success of our business.
Our office is located in Forest Glen, however you would have the flexibility to work from home as required. This is a Full time or Part time role depending upon the capabilities and preference of the successful applicant.
This role would suit a person who has a minimum of 7 years experience with the ability to show initiative and interested in the success of our clients businesses:
Core Responsibilities:
· Prepare Financial Statements and Tax returns for individuals to larger groups and businesses.
· Consult with clients regarding business/tax
· Communicate with bookkeepers to ensure clients best outcomes
. Oversee other Accountant’s work to ensure compliance
· Work with Manager Director in creation and extension of service offering to clients
· Provide advice to clients as required
Skills & Experience
· Accounting degree qualification
· At least 7 years experience in public practice in Australia
. Current Tax Agent Registration Preferrable
· Experience working as a Financial Controller preferable
· Member of industry body (CA/CPA/IPA)
· Experienced in Xero Practice Manager/Xero Tax preferable
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidates will have extensive tax exposure gained in an Australian Public Practice environment. You will have a minimum of 7 years experience, sound technical knowledge and well-developed interpersonal skills. The ability to successfully communicate strategies and ideas face to face and via phone is a must. Liaising at all levels within the organisation, along with extensive client exposure is required. Practice management experience as well would be viewed very highly as this will give you a view of Public Practice from the very bottom up.
Remuneration will be based on experience and will be discussed at time of formal interview.

Minimum Part-time hours: 25/week

Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
