Working location: TRG Office - 145-147 Nguyen Co Thach Street, An Khanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Department: Finance Employment Type: Fixed-term contract (3 months) About the Role We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support a 3-month data recovery and reconciliation project. This role will focus on restoring financial data, organizing documentation, and ensuring completeness and accuracy of records. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable working with large volumes of data under tight timelines. Key Responsibilities Perform data recovery activities, including retrieving financial data from various sources (systems, emails, and physical documents) Coordinate and manage document collection, scanning, and digital archiving to ensure proper record-keeping Reconstruct and consolidate financial records where data gaps exist Conduct data reconciliation between multiple sources (Sunsystems, bank statements, supporting documents) to ensure accuracy and completeness Liaise with internal stakeholders (finance, sales, HR, etc.) and external parties (auditors, vendors, service providers, etc.) to obtain missing data and supporting documentation Organize and maintain structured documentation for ease of access and future reference Support the preparation of summary reports on data status, gaps, and reconciliation outcomes Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum 3-4 years of experience in accounting, audit, or data reconciliation roles Strong experience in data handling, reconciliation, and document management High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets Proactive approach with strong follow-up skills when dealing with multiple stakeholders Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a project-based environment Good communication skills in liaising with both internal and external parties Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems (Sunsystems experience preferred) Preferred Skills Experience in data cleanup, migration, or recovery projects Familiarity with document management or scanning systems Background in audit or project-based accounting assignments What’s in It for You?
