Job Summary The Senior Accountant supports core accounting activities in a multi-entity environment, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective internal controls, and timely close cycles. This role partners with cross-functional teams to support system integrity, intercompany accounting, and continuous process improvement, while serving as a technical resource within the accounting function. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Execute and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for multiple legal entities, including intercompany transactions and eliminations · Prepare, review, and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules in accordance with GAAP · Maintain and support ERP systems, including data integrity, enhancements, and implementation activities · Support and provide guidance to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams · Analyze financial results, identify variances, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Requirements Qualifications – Education, Experience, License/Certifications: · Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience · Demonstrated experience in a multi-entity accounting environment with intercompany activity · ERP system experience required; manufacturing or print industry experience strongly preferred · CPA or CPA-eligible preferred; public accounting experience a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting principles · Advanced proficiency with ERP systems and Excel for financial analysis and reporting · Ability to manage complex accounting processes and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Clear and effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions Physical Requirements: · Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods · Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail during peak close and audit periods · Flexibility to work extended hours as business needs require · Occasional lifting of office materials up to 15 pounds Compensation: The base compensation range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $115,000 per year plus benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
