QUALIFICATIONS

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in asset and/or general ledger accounting
  • Excellent knowledge of SAP (FI/CO), ideally SAP S/4HANA
  • Ideally, you have already managed projects with an accounting focus
  • Strong understanding of operational accounting processes, especially in the areas of Acquire-to-Retire and Record-to-Report
  • Independent and self-responsible working style
  • Structured, solution-oriented, and reliable demeanor
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken

Responsibilities
  • You bring strong accounting expertise and solid experience in preparing financial statements, and you take professional responsibility for the further development of fixed asset accounting and the oversight of asset-related processes (Acquire-to-Retire) for EagleBurgmann entities in Germany and Austria
  • You ensure timely and accurate recording of all transactions in the area of fixed assets in SAP in accordance with legal requirements and internal guidelines
  • You plan, organize, and carry out fixed asset inventories and projects related to the Acquire-to-Retire process
  • You prepare regular reports and perform ad-hoc analyses within your area of responsibility
  • You act as the central point of contact for accounting and process-related questions in the Acquire-to-Retire process and collaborate closely with subsidiaries, internal departments, and auditors
  • You support monthly and quarterly closings under IFRS and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
  • You maintain process documentation, perform internal controls, and continuously enhance processes and systems within the SAP FI-AA environment
