We are seeking to hire a Senior Accountant in our office in Wexford Town office.

REQUIREMENTS:

• ACA/ACCA/CPA qualified
• Minimum of 5+ years relevant accounting experience in senior practice position with hands-on experience of working within an Accounting Practice in Ireland
• Experience of working within a practice environment is essential
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills required
• Logical and keen to learn
• Experience using Sage accounting software an advantage
• Capable of working as part of a team or on own initiative

• Complete year-end financial statements in readiness for client meetings
• Capable of finalising financial statements and relevant tax returns after client meeting, for submission to Revenue and Companies Registration Office
• Involvement in Client meetings
• Personal and Corporate Tax returns
• Management of multiple jobs ensuring completion in a timely and professional manner
• Advising clients in relation to accounting, taxation and business matters
• Staff supervision
• Develop strong client relationships
