Description This position will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the financial statements and annual budget. This position will also be responsible for improving the efficiency and integrity of the financial system. Key Accountabilities: Assist in preparing monthly financial statements Assist in preparing annual budget Work with AVP and auditors on yearly financial audit Execute financial analytics for month end close and annual budget Review account reconciliations Financial analysis-develop financial tools and models Indirect supervision of staff accountants Maintain confidentiality with regards to all accounting/finance issues Special projects as assigned Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office Proficient in financial accounting software Excellent attention to detail and follow-through skills Communicates effectively, both orally and in writing Ability to handle confidential information Ability to analyze figures Education/Experience/Training: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or related field 3-5 years of experience in accounting CPA preferred Martignetti Companies prides itself on being a company where you can bring your best self to work every day.
