What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our International Reporting team. In this role, you’ll have an exciting opportunity at Principal working with our global locations. You’ll work with teams across the globe to understand their financial results and businesses. You’ll also prepare and present the earnings call materials to the CFO, as well as have responsibility for various reporting processes. The role will work directly with the CFO as well as other leaders in the department.

  • Perform financial analysis and research, identifying trends and variances on a timely basis for use by management in decision making and make recommendations as appropriate ·
  • Coordinate and consolidate financial information across international locations·
  • Ability to create efficient and effective reports and dashboards that add value to management decisions and initiate enhancements
  • Lead and participate in projects, representing the business unit
  • Perform other duties or essential functions as needed.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of related experience required.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Results-oriented, self-starter with the ability to accept and adapt to a changing environment
  • Must demonstrate the ability to drive change, informally lead to drive results, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI knowledge a plus

Salary Range Information: Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range: $86450 - $144400 / year Time Off Program: Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible: Yes Additional Information:
