Communication | Community | Wellness Other Benefits & Programs We Offer: Tuition reimbursement HSA Medical plan option with annual company contribution Referral bonus program Perks at Work – discounts on shopping, travel & more Proven continued business growth for future opportunities Position Overview Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Accountant, Financial Accounting and Reporting will oversee general ledger accounting and reporting activities, including supporting the month-end close process, preparing financial reports for lenders and investors, and completing monthly account reconciliations. Job Responsibilities Assist with month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Assist with the preparation of financial reports for distribution internally and externally. Support the annual audit process, including preparation of documentation and working directly with external auditors. Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Perform background checks on new suppliers and customers to determine credit worthiness and assist in maintenance of supplier and customer directory. Help to implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Assist with tax and other compliance matters. Requirements Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. 2+ years of related experience, manufacturing and/or public accounting experience preferred. Strong understanding of US GAAP Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including advanced proficiency in Excel. Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to work on-site in Germantown, WI at least three days a week.
