The Opportunity The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting is responsible for supporting the general ledger function for Allegro MicroSystems' Europe & South America entities. This role ensures the accurate, timely, and compliant recording of financial transactions in accordance with Europe & SA GAAP and corporate policies. The Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting will play a key role in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and assisting with financial reporting and audits What You Will Do Prepares monthly Europe & SA Financial Package. Prepares monthly journal entries of US books. Prepares balance sheet and income statement reconciliations. Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and implement improvements within the team’s operations. Assist in the development and documentation of GL policies and procedures. Collaborate with other finance teams, sales, and other departments to resolve cross-functional issues. Performs month-end closing procedures Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time. What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar accounting role. Experience with Europe & SA GAAP is required. Experience within a manufacturing, technology, or semiconductor industry is a plus. Familiarity with month-end close processes and account reconciliations. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable. Strong Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting Solid understanding of Europe & SA GAAP principles, including revenue recognition, expense accruals, and intercompany accounting. Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Hyperion, BlackLine) is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
