JOB SUMMARY:

Join a growing, publicly traded organization as a Sr. Accountant in their Technical Accounting & Reporting department. In this high-visibility role, you’ll support SEC reporting, ASC 842 lease accounting, and other complex technical projects, working closely with senior leadership to influence reporting processes, technical accounting policies, and overall efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting from a four-year accredited university required
• 3-5+ years’ relevant corporate experience or experience in public accounting

• Support purchase price allocation (PPA) processes, acquisitions accounting, and coordination with internal/external stakeholders.
• Perform ASC 842 lease accounting and support quarterly impairment analyses.
• Prepare and review GAAP financial statements, SEC filings, footnotes, and reporting timelines.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, maintain internal controls, and coordinate audits.
• Provide technical accounting guidance, research GAAP updates, and draft white papers.
• Partner with valuation firms on PPA and stock-based compensation, and support complex transactions.
• Drive process improvements, policy updates, and accounting system enhancements in collaboration with IT.
• Lead and participate in special projects; perform other duties as required, including occasional overtime.
