Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for providing support to the Director of Finance in the day-to- day accounting function and acts as the back-up to the Accounting Supervisor when absent. Overall responsibility includes monthly preparation of financial statements and government reports and working directly with the Director to ensure internal control measures and ministry policies are adhered to. This will include reviewing current processes and developing or enhancing processes, policies, and procedures
Responsibilities::
Ensures accounts receivable and payable activities are performed accurately and timely
Education::
A post secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
