CC has established itself as an industry leader due to its unique business model and successful implementation of an RFID-based asset tracking system that tracks 850,000 assets across 30,000 unique locations throughout the U.S.A. and Canada. JOB OVERVIEW The Senior Accountant is a key member of the finance team responsible for executing core accounting processes, financial reporting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, and compliance. This role works closely with the Finance team and is expected to take ownership of key areas of the month-end close while contributing to process improvements and audit readiness. This position is designed for a high-performing individual. The Senior Accountant will report to the Director of Finance. JOB DUTIES Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Own assigned areas of the month-end and year-end close process Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting packages Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data General Ledger & Accounting Operations Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper classification of transactions Manage key balance sheet accounts including fixed assets, accruals, and prepaid expenses Support oversight of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Assist with daily cash activity monitoring and cash reconciliations Audit, Compliance & Controls Prepare audit support and coordinate with external auditors Support the execution and documentation of internal controls and accounting policies Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Cross-Functional Support & Analysis Partner with Finance Team and across departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making Assist with tax filings and coordination with external tax advisors Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting processes Support implementation of system enhancements and automation initiatives COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Competitive salary commensurate with experience plus yearly bonus Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance 401K plan PTO and Paid Holidays Pay range $100,000 - $120,000 * Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice. **Container Centralen, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred) 3+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close, audits, and account reconciliations Advanced Excel skills, and experience with ERP systems (specifically NetSuite) preferred Strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build strong working relationships Familiarity with BI tools and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus Must be authorized to work in the United States
