Catterton), Ghost is one of LA’s fastest-growing startups. About the Role We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team at Ghost. You will be responsible for helping us make critical financial decisions by collecting, tracking, and recording the company's financial results. Additionally, you will serve as a bridge between finance and departmental functions at Ghost. Key Responsibilities: Ensure accuracy of accounting and financial data by collaborating with sales, operations, and product teams. Own the full accounts payable cycle; manage new vendors, invoices, and payables with precision. Oversee accounts receivable and manage collections from buyers. Support month, quarter, and year-end close by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations, ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Prepare schedules and maintain reconciliation for Prepaids, Accrued Expenses, Fixed Assets, and other balance sheet accounts. Collaborate with Ops and Sales teams to ensure accurate reporting of managed and consignment inventory, along with all transaction data. Establish and manage vendor and buyer compliance processes. Respond to information requests and provide support during audits. Prepare special financial reports, showcasing your keen analysis of account information and trends. Qualifications: 5+ years of relevant experience, ideally from a large accounting firm or a startup Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred Proficient with Excel and Google Sheets Experience with NetSuite is a major plus Strong written and verbal communication skills A self-starter, you excel at multitasking, prioritizing, and executing tasks without micro-management, all while proactively seeking assistance when needed You are comfortable with a 5-day in-office workweek Benefits we offer: Medical, Vision, and Dental with some plans covered at 100% Competitive compensation and equity structure 401K Unlimited PTO Our total compensation for this position can range from $120,000 - $130,000.
