Job Summary The Senior Accountant, Construction and Project Accounting uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters. Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on more risky and complicated countries. Responsibilities Prepare complex general ledger journal entries Ensures proper and timely recording of financial transactions in the general ledger in accordance with GAAP, company policies and internal control standards Manage a large portfolio of complex CIP construction & IT projects and work cross functionally to ensure accurate accounting Prepare account reconciliations for moderate to complex accounts. Ensures that general ledger ending balances are reconciled and reconciling items are resolved Participate in month end close activities & Quarter end activities Review of financial results and variance analysis as compared to prior period for assigned areas on the financial statements Work with various data owners and departments which includes Tax, OPS, CIO and Finance Prepare financial audit PBC requests for quarterly financial reviews and the annual audit for both SEC reporting and the external auditors Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis Special projects as required Performs flux analysis Prepares reconciliations Executes SOX controls Qualifications At least 3+ years of experience in accounting, Fixed Assets/CIP experience preferred Experience performing accounting research Strong analytical and process skills; strong attention to detail Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Excel beyond basic use (i.e. pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) required Experience with Oracle Cloud, PPM, PCS preferred. Experience with Hyperion Essbase, preferred Strong organization and planning skills, and strong PC skills Strong communication skills, both oral and written Team player with a positive energetic attitude BA in Accounting preferred MBA and/or CPA is a Plus The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 80,000 - 120,000 USD / Annual Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 73,000 - 109,000 CAD / Annual Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
