PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree Academic degree in accounting;
More than 5 year’s professional experience in accounting;

KNOWLEDGE OF LUX GAAP IS IMPORTANT,

Fluency in English, any other European language is considered a plus, especially French
Good knowledge in SAP, is compulsory;
Proficiency in Excel (macros, vlook-up, complex Pivot, …);
Open and transparent communication;
Be an excellent team player;
Ability to work autonomously, accuracy and attention to detail;
Experience in working in cross-functional and multicultural environments;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude;
Ability to set priorities.
Holder of a valid working permit to work in Luxembourg is compulsory;

Responsibilities

Take “ownership” of your part of the General Accounting (GL, AP & AR) for the company(ies) assigned to you;
Follow-up of the « day-to-day » accounting activities;
Prepare monthly VAT returns;
Liaise with the companies of the group related to intercompany reconciliations;
Be in charge of the monthly general ledger and trial balance review;
Follow-up on the customers and the suppliers account balances;
Support the Head of Accounting with month end and year end close process;
Develop accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls in accordance with the guidelines.
