Scope of Responsibilities: As our Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role to maintain the accuracy of the affiliate's financial and payroll information as your primary duties. This role ensures compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements while optimizing internal processes. Additionally, this position is essential for ensuring the integrity of the retail financials within the ReStore program. Accounting: Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations for a smooth month-end close. Generate insightful management reports and conduct analyses to support our leadership team. Collaborate with ReStore leadership to investigate budget variances and assist in annual budget preparations. Act as our go-to expert on the POS system and address any financial discrepancies. Conduct ad hoc analysis on sales trends and inventory metrics. Work alongside our CFO/COO and auditors during the annual audit process. Human Resources: Manage bi-weekly payroll submissions and related reporting. Oversee benefits administration, including managing open enrollment for employees. Administer the 401(k) plan and complete year-end audits. Additional Responsibilities: Safeguard our organization's interests and report any concerns to our CEO. Perform additional tasks assigned by the CFO/COO to help our team succeed. What We're Looking For: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrate a commitment to learning and development. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks. At least four years of progressive accounting and general ledger experience, with two years in a senior-level role. Experience in the retail sector and payroll processing is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Why Join Us?
