We’re scaling rapidly across Amazon, D2C, and TikTok Shop, and we’re looking for a Senior Accountant to ensure the backbone of our growth—accurate, reliable, and timely financials—is rock solid. This role is about flawless execution: closing the books, reconciling accounts, managing cash flow visibility, and ensuring compliance. You’ll deliver the clean, on-time reporting our leadership team depends on to make confident decisions, while building processes that scale as we grow. What You’ll Own You’ll take ownership of all core accounting functions at Hadley Designs, including month-end close, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and compliance. You’ll also build processes that eliminate errors, keep cash flow transparent, and ensure every financial report ties out to the penny. Your “One Thing” Provide accurate, timely financial reporting that supports sound business decisions while ensuring compliance and optimizing cash flow visibility. Your “Big Rocks” & Core KPIs Month-End Close Deliver accurate, fully reconciled financial statements by the 20th of each month Financial Accuracy Zero material errors across all reports and reconciliations Cash Flow Management Maintain a rolling 12-month forecast with ≤5% variance between forecasted and actuals AP/AR Discipline 100% of supplier payments and customer collections made on time Audit & Compliance Complete audits with no major findings or compliance issues Expense Optimization Identify and implement cost-saving measures totaling at least $50K annually Regular Work Activities Manage AR/AP, payroll, reimbursements, and vendor payments Reconcile all key accounts, including cash, inventory, and COGS Maintain SKU-level profitability reporting and cash flow spreadsheets Support budget tracking with variance reporting and spend analysis Ensure GAAP compliance, tax filings, and audit readiness Implement process improvements to reduce manual work and improve scalability What Success Looks Like In your first 90 days, you will: Take ownership of monthly close and all reconciliations Deliver accurate financial statements and cash forecasts on schedule Build trust with leadership by providing complete visibility into cash and expenses By the end of your first year: All accounting processes will run smoothly, on time, and without executive intervention Financial reporting will be audit-ready and error-free Cash flow will be predictable with proactive visibility into payables and receivables You’ll have implemented systems that improve efficiency and reduce manual work What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred) 5+ years of accounting experience, including 2+ years in a senior role Proven track record in process improvement and cost savings Experience in eCommerce or retail strongly preferred Mastery of software tools like Xero, LinkMyBooks, and Excel/Google Sheets Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment Remote-first work environment Independent contractor role, not BPO Flexible working hours (with CST availability window) Paid time off (PTO) Paid holidays (aligned with U.S. calendar) Access to courses, trainings, or a learning budget Access to company products Regular interaction with CEO and leadership team Established company doing business for 10+ years Autonomy and opportunities for growth
