REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, ACCA, or CMA certifications are a plus)
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with proven exposure to UAE VAT compliance
  • Solid knowledge of UAE tax laws, FTA guidelines, and IFRS standards
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or Tally
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in managing UAE-based accounts, especially in VAT compliance, corporate tax compliance, financial reporting, and general accounting practices. You’ll work closely with our team and clients to ensure compliance, maintain accurate records, and provide reliable financial insights.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee day-to-day accounting for UAE-based clients
  • Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Handle UAE VAT filings and ensure compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage AR/AP
  • Assist with corporate tax matters and audits
  • Provide advisory insights and resolve client queries
  • Supervise and support junior team members if required
