Description
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual segment financials and required supporting documentation​ Conduct variance analyses and explain differences between actual and expected financial performance ​ Manage the processing of journal entries related to segment-specific revenue​ Ensure journal entries are accurately prepared, reviewed, and posted in accordance with internal policies and procedures​ Support technical accounting analysis and interpretation of complex issues Establish and maintain strong internal controls to ensure reporting accuracy​ Perform financial close activities and enable the timely and accurate completion of close-related tasks​ Manage the team's compliance with US GAAP and company policies and procedures Manage internal and external audit support, including preparation of audit documentation in response to auditor inquiries​ Implement recommendations and mitigation plans in response to audit findings and outcomes​ Collaborate with region-specific Commercial Finance counterparts and understand how and when accounting policies apply to the Business​ Facilitate interactions and collaboration between Commercial Finance and the Technical Accounting team Degree in BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance or a similar BSc (Hons) in a related accounting field, Chartered Accountant (ACA), and the Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) designation is preferred Minimum 4 years' accounting experience (public company and/or public accounting experience preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), along with a solid understanding of accounting principles, concepts, and practices Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, creatively problem solve, and contribute efficiently and optimally in a fast-paced team environment Excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment Organized and detail-oriented Strong problem-solving skills To Play to Win, you will be a champion of our Leadership Principles: Knowing is Half the Battle Break the Mold Take Charge Be Legendary Friendship is Magic The Matrix of Leadership
