LOCATION : HEAD OFFICE ABU DHABI

Employment Type: Full-time
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting management in strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Review and ensure compliance with VAT, tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation.
  • Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and strengthen internal controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA/CA is an advantage).
  • Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role in food & Beverages sector.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and local accounting/tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.
