We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team and help shape the future of our growing company. The Senior Accountant plays a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of SYSTM Foods and its family of brands. This role leads month-end close activities, prepares and analyzes financial statements, and collaborates cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You’ll have the opportunity to own accounting processes, drive continuous improvement, and provide insights that support strategic decisions and company growth. What You’ll Do Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations. Maintain accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across multiple entities. Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights on performance, variances, and trends. Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany balances. Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A to analyze costs, inventory movements, and production variances. Contribute to budgets, forecasts, and financial metric tracking. Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, ensuring strong internal controls. Identify and implement improvements to accounting systems, workflows, and controls (NetSuite experience a plus). Prepare audit and tax schedules and assist with external audits. Mentor and review work of junior accounting team members. Requirements What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (CPG, manufacturing, or multi-entity experience preferred). Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices. Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills. CPA license or active candidacy strongly preferred. Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
