POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the full accounting function for our growing, mid-sized, Louisville KY based organization. Induction Therapies produces an FDA cleared class II medical device and a line of professional skincare used in Dermatology and Medical Spas. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where they will contribute to strategic decision-making by providing accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Solid understanding of inventory accounting, COGS, and multi-channel environments.
  • Proficient in accounting and ERP systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Tax Jar).
  • Practical experience with NetSuite will be key to success in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and present financial reports and insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • A collaborative mindset with strong communication skills.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Prepare and present timely, accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, project costing, and financial planning initiatives.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies as needed.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports for senior leadership.
  • Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), inventory levels, and margin trends to support pricing and product strategy decisions.
  • Partner with operations and supply chain teams to ensure accurate inventory valuation and reconciliation across manufacturing, warehousing, and retail/online channels.
