Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to dedicate to our Infrastructure transactions. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accounting professional with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 audit firm and/or a multinational corporate environment. This role will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting the business with timely insights. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and group accounting policies. Assist in the consolidation of group accounts where applicable. Month-End Closing & General Ledger: Manage the month-end closing process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of the general ledger. Day-to-Day Accounting Operations Verify vendor invoices, staff claims and process payments in accordance with company policies. Prepare and issue invoices to customers. Support accounts receivable and accounts payable processes as needed. Audit & Compliance: Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for statutory audits. Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations, GST filings, and other statutory requirements. Internal Controls & Process Improvement: Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to corporate policies. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency. Business Support: Partner with internal stakeholders to provide financial analysis and insights. Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting as required. Systems & Technology Support implementation and data migration of automation or reporting tools where applicable. Assist with team projects as required and takes responsibility and ownership for deliverables including projects/process improvements where applicable Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Chartered Accountant / CPA / ACCA qualified is a plus. 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably Big 4 trained with exposure to multinational companies. Strong knowledge of SFRS and Singapore statutory requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with ERP systems (SAP, Yardi, or equivalent). Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
