What you'll do Posting and managing all accounting transactions. Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Controlling financial transactions and documents. Compliance with tax policies and regulations. Must-haves 5+ years of work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the GAAP and IAS. Experience in US or EU accounting is mandatory. Hands-on experience with accounting software (like QuickBooks, etc.). Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables. Experience with general ledger functions. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills. BSc in Accounting or relevant degree. Proficiency in English. Ability to work in CET timezone. Fluent in Ex-Yu languages (Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin). Nice-to-haves Experience in consolidating financial statements. Experience with Stripe.
