Job Brief We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join Jeeny’s Finance team in Jordan. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency across all accounting activities. This role oversees day-to-day accounting operations, prepares financial statements, manages tax obligations, and strengthens internal controls. The Senior Accountant will also provide financial insights to support decision-making, monitor cash flow, and ensure all reporting aligns with Jordanian regulatory requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Accounting Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Maintain the general ledger and perform account reconciliations Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes Tax Compliance & Regulatory Reporting Prepare and submit corporate income tax and GST filings to the Income and Sales Tax Department Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulatory requirements Support external audits and provide required financial documentation Cash Flow & Treasury Management Monitor accounts receivable and payable activities Maintain and update cash flow forecasts Ensure sufficient liquidity to support operational needs Budgeting & Cost Control Track actual spending against approved budgets Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial efficiency Provide financial guidance to department heads when needed Internal Controls & Risk Management Implement and maintain strong internal control procedures Ensure proper segregation of duties and adherence to policies Reduce risks related to errors, fraud, or financial misstatements Strategic Support & Reporting Provide financial insights and analysis to support business decisions Assist in ERP implementation, process automation, or expansion initiatives Prepare financial reports and KPIs for senior management Team Collaboration & Mentorship Guide and review work of junior accountants Promote adherence to accounting best practices and company policies Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 3–5 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting roles Strong understanding of accounting principles and local regulatory requirements in Jordan Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills What We Offer An opportunity to collaborate with talented individuals while learning, growing, and expanding your skill set.
