Description Jet Health, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in healthcare finance. This role is vital to maintaining the financial integrity of our organization through accurate reporting, compliance with healthcare regulations, and effective support of financial planning initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage general ledger functions and ensure timely completion of month-end, quarter end, and year-end closing processes. Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data. Monitor budget variances, analyze financial performance, and present findings. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts. Coordinate with the Controller to manage and support the external auditor's process. Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical and administrative teams to support financial decision-making. Oversee cost reporting and healthcare-specific regulatory filings. Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or master’s preferred). Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in healthcare. Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations and regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Great Plains, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or collaboratively. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Preferred Experience: Familiarity with home health, hospice, hospital, or clinical practice accounting. Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement practices. Experience with EMR (Home Care Home Base preferred) and healthcare financial systems. Additional Information: Hybrid Work Option: Eligible to work remotely 1 day per week after completing 60 days on-site.
