Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Longwood, FL (Fully On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 base

JOB SUMMARY:

Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This individual will play a key role in executing the monthly close, financial reporting, inventory reconciliation, and regulatory compliance for our high-growth manufacturing client. The ideal candidate brings full-cycle accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and thrives in a collaborative, detail-oriented environment. This is a fully on-site position in Longwood, FL.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (required).
  • Experience with manufacturing (preferred).
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.

Responsibilities
  • Execute full-cycle accounting functions including monthly close.
  • Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Oversee job cost and revenue-expense accuracy through general ledger and job analysis.
  • Perform inventory reconciliation and support the annual physical count.
  • Prepare monthly sales tax returns and ensure tax compliance.
  • Lead accounts receivable invoicing, manage exemption certificates, deposits, and aged reconciliations.
  • Generate weekly performance metrics and assist with ad hoc financial reporting.
  • Participate in external financial audits and manage related documentation.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, sales, manufacturing, and operations teams.
