We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to manage and oversee financial operations. In this role, you will ensure compliance with accounting standards, support month-end and year-end closings, and maintain accurate financial records. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights on financial performance, forecasts, and audits. Remote reporting from your location is possible, offering flexibility while staying connected with key stakeholders. \n Accountabilities: Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with US GAAP. Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and oversee charitable spending reporting. Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for multiple jurisdictions. Monitor inventory cycle counts to ensure proper internal controls. Support annual financial audits and manage auditor requests. Develop forecasts and assist in annual budgeting processes. Ensure compliance with financial laws, regulations, and company policies. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience in a senior accounting role. Proficiency in accounting software; SAP experience preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles with the ability to adapt to business needs. Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or collaboratively.
