REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or joinery of minimum 5 to 7 years in GCC
• Familiarity with job costing and inventory accounting
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines and have excellent communication skills

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the joinery / woodworking industry. The ideal candidate should have experience in day-to-day accounting and supporting the finalization of accounts including Trial Balance. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with all statutory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle daily accounting operations including entries, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Support in the finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable related to raw materials, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Support monthly closings, financial reports, and audits
• Coordinate with vendors and internal departments for timely payment and billing accuracy
• Monitor petty cash, payroll entries and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• File Quarterly VAT returns and have knowledge of filing Annual Corporate Tax
• Preparing Financial Budgets and Forecast
