FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our contracting company. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and industry regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles, including job costing, revenue recognition, and contract management.
• Proficiency in using accounting software with experience in implementing and optimizing financial systems.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Sound understanding of GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
