POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our manufacturing business. This role will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support strategic decision-making. The Senior Accountant will lead a team, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and manufacturing cost controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Post Secondary in Finance, or related field; CPA designation desirable.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and inventory management.
• Proficiency in ERP (Accpac) systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing a small team.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
