QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including GL and month-end close
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and analytical skills

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior General Ledger Accountant for a 6-month contract to support our accounting operations during a key transition period. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and confident managing complex accounting tasks with minimal oversight.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure the accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Analyze GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules
• Support process improvements and documentation of accounting procedures
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, AP, AR, and payroll teams
• Assist with special projects, system implementations, or transitions as needed
