We are a beauty start-up founded in 2020 and located in the heart of Berlin. Our team is composed of over 80 brilliant human beings who came from all over the world to write Yepoda’s story actively.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team at Yepoda. This role will involve overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with German accounting standards, and supporting the team as we continue to scale.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Experience in e-commerce and cross-border VAT is a plus
• Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB), experience with DATEV is a plus
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in finance and accounting
• Fluent in English, German/Italian/French/Spanish are a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentalit

• Oversee day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation in accordance with HGB
• Support during the statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations
• Prepare cash flow statements and monitor cash on hand
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support other departments with financial insights
