Senior Accountant(Manufacturing)

The Senior Accountant(Manufacturing) will support management with monthly production work order processing, cost allocations, inventory reconciliations, and standard costing report analysis.

Duties:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Manage the costing and develop a bill of materials of manufactured products
  • Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Reconcile inventory weekly and monthly, ensuring alignment between sub-ledgers and the general ledger
  • Streamline inventory management procedures and generate consistent, data-driven reports
  • Maintaining accurate books and records and strong internal control processes
  • Perform variance analysis to identify trends and potential issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cost control measures
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports to assist in budgeting and financial planning
  • Monitor and report on cost variances and inefficiencies
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for products and services

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 5 plus years of experience in cost accounting or related field
  • Manufacturing cost accounting
  • Experience with budgeting and account analysis
  • ERP systems
  • Familiarity with financial accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
