The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the general accounting functions of the company, as assigned, in order to meet and satisfy current and future company requirements. Key responsibilities include: Assisting with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger accounting, cost analysis, inventory and fixed asset management, audit support, month-end closing, financial reporting, and maintaining accurate financial records and documentation. The role also provides analysis and reporting to help management monitor costs, inventory, and overall financial performance. A Bachelor of Arts or Business Administration degree with a major in Accounting. Strongly prefer at least two years practical experience in accounting profession. Experience in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment is desired. Matric is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
