JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review personal, corporate, and trust tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Assist with audits and tax compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
