JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, as well as proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review personal, corporate, and trust tax returns.
  • Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Assist with audits and tax compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of tax filings.
  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.

Qualifications:

  • CPA designation required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
