ABOUT THE JOB.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and offers strong financial acumen with a thorough understanding of GAAP principles. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial reporting systems and supporting the overall financial fitness of the organization.
In the role of Senior Accountant, you are responsible for all aspects of the operations financial, including:
:
1. Data entry, proof & processing of all vendor invoices for accounts payable daily transactions.
2. Post customer payments, credit memo adjustments & returns - Accounts Receivables.
3. Prepare and execute journal entries as required, including transactions submitted by external CPA.
4. Prepare income statements, balance sheets and other reports for submission to the parent company.
5. Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts as required.
6. Review all internal and external Account Receivable functions.
ü Credentials preferred, not required - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related program.
ü Proven experience in accounting management, senior accountant or a similar role is essential.
ü Skilled user of accounting programs – Microsoft Excel, BI, Great Plains or similar ERP systems.
ü Effective communication skills, proactive problem solver, cheerful & collaborative team player.
