Prime System Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will handle general accounting tasks for a designated portfolio, manage the month-end close process, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements. This role demands attention to detail and experience with accounting software, specifically NetSuite. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, complete reconciliations, and perform variance analysis to ensure compliance with GAAP. Review financial documents for accuracy and reconcile accounts. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve processes and financial performance. Ensure financial records adhere to regulatory standards. Maintain financial systems by coding transactions and suggesting improvements. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial records. Assist external accounting firms with tax filing preparation. Support the annual financial statement audit process. Perform other duties as needed to support business operations. Skills and Qualifications: Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial principles, and accounting methods (cash and accrual). Proficiency in NetSuite and other accounting software. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and self-manage effectively. Educational and Experience Requirements: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 4-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance. Experience with accounting software applications, especially NetSuite, is required.
