We are looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing Financial Reporting team. The person in this role will need to be comfortable explaining fluctuations, variances, and anomalies to finance leadership. The Senior Accountant will also serve as the primary point of contact during the company’s annual audit. Additional responsibilities include general ledger journal posting and account reconciliation, ad-hoc financial reporting, and finance systems maintenance. Responsibilities Preparation of day-to-day and month end general journal entries, including complex revenue, cost of sales, and intra-entity entries Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts for multiple legal and operational entities Review of journal entries prepared by finance operations staff Preparation of full set of financial statements with commentary, supporting schedules within monthly close deadline Maintain financials at subsidiary level for management and statutory reporting Analysis of financial variances to budgets, prior periods, and expected amount Serving as primary point of contact for company’s financial auditors for interim and year-end testing Support for treasury and banking functions as needed Ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis Other duties assigned Requirements Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance CPA preferred 3+ years of experience working at the staff or senior level in public accounting or corporate accounting Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with proper care Comfort working in a deadline driven environment Comfort handling changing priorities and unexpected circumstances Ability to present financial numbers and concepts in a clear understandable way to internal and external users; comfortable speaking to and working directly with executive management Experience with NetSuite Financial system or working with multiple currencies a plus
Responsibilities
